My Setup!
So this page is all about my setup, At the moment I'm afraid my Bunnies are abit dotted around the garden and I have some in a shed. This is not for long though as we are now in the process of building are Rabbit shed. All the bunnies will live at the top of the garden in their giant shed. We aim to have It split into sections, these include a maternity section for pregnant mums and litters of babies, here they will have 4ft hutches with a nest area and a run area, this is so they can nest their babies safely and give them space while not feeding and space away from the babies when they start coming out of the nest. The females will then stay here once the babies have gone and recover from their pregnancies. There will also be a show section, where there will be smaller hutches with just shaving as bedding before a show to keep bunnies clean. We will have a show prep table for grooming and nail clipping and this room will where we do all our behind the scenes stuff, we will also have a cork board in here to pin possible rosettes up but mostly to display all our CC's and cards. We will have a section for retired bunnies that I want to stay with me, this will have small hutches in there. We will also have a section for any bunnies that are not pregnant/coming out of the maternity section and stud males. This will just be the general bunny section until bunnies are getting ready for shows or being mated up. We will finally have a small section full of spare hutches For keep-able babies/ babies we cannot sell and just for general use - You can never have enough spare hutches.
Also we are blocking off quite a bit of the garden to put A shape runs up for the bunnies to go out in :) They will love this!
So they are all our plans and ill keep this updated and put pictures on of it all coming together, I cant wait, it will be like the bunnies own personal house. We are also going to get a plaque made with 'Nevy burrows' and 'Foxy falls' on it to put on the outside.
Below are pictures of the shed I have already and a few of the hutches :)
